Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, February 19, 1974, he leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, parents Frank and Elaine Byra, sister Marcy and niece Abby, sister Kelly (Glen) and niece Kassidy, numerous great-aunts and great- uncles, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Sherry in 1971, grandparents, John and Francis Byra, Joe and Olga Bobbie, Aunties, Joan Byra and Diane Therres. Jon was a very kind, happy, generous man who absolutely adored and loved spending time with his two nieces. Jon was always trying to make people laugh, or playing practical jokes on people. He was a huge wrestling fan who would often meet and greet wrestlers at the airport when they would arrive in town for a show. Jon would get up early in the morning and head out to the airport with his close friend Jonathan to try and get some autographs. He loved photography and took many pictures of his loved ones. He also loved listening to music and playing games on his computer. Jon worked for Walmart for the last eight years.
